Wedding Edit Styles

Explaining the look.

While there are many styles available and ways to achieve them, we want to focus on the 3 more common styles that professional photographers dedicated themselves to.  Every aspect of the day affects the final image look from camera settings, clothing tones, background tones, lighting, etc.  We hope this closer look might help you choose exactly what you are looking for!

Light & Airy

The light and airy editing style lends itself to a more romantic, soft & whimsical look with lighter tones, blown out skies, and muted colors.  Some describe it as clean and uncluttered with a fairy tale bridal magazine look.  Think about weddings photographed in May, June and July with soft natural color tones.  If you have an October wedding with dark navy bridesmaid dresses, the light and airy look isn't ideal!

Natural & True to Life

Just like it sounds, the natural and true to life style is more of what your eye sees!  With pleasing real skin tones this style is timeless, not trendy.  The sky's remain just as you saw them and the ambient light is just as you remember.  A combination of perfectly balanced bold and vibrant colors and even contrast help ensure a look that is a proven classic.

Dark & Moody

When you think of the dark and moody style, think about cinematic tones that lend themselves to a more emotional vibe.  With deep shadows, higher contrast, and richer colors this style is modern and edgy.
